Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Grace Running Wild Equine collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our website or make a donation. We are a nonprofit organization. We respect your privacy and handle personal information in a careful and limited way.

Who Is Responsible for Your Data?
For the purposes of data protection laws (including the EU General Data Protection Regulation, “GDPR,” and the California Consumer Privacy Act, “CCPA,” as amended by the CPRA), Grace Running Wild Equine is the data controller for information collected through this website.
When you make an online donation, Payroc World Access, LLC (“Payroc”), which operates the Roc Giving platform, processes payment information on our behalf as a service provider. Payroc’s own privacy policy governs how it handles payment and transaction data.
You may contact us using the phone number or email address on our Contact page or at the end of this policy.
What Information We Collect
We do not require you to create an account to use this website.
If you contact us by email or through our contact form, we may receive personal information you choose to send, such as your name, email address, phone number (if provided), and the content of your message. We use this information only to read and respond to your inquiry and to carry out our nonprofit mission.
Our website is hosted on Vercel, which acts as our third-party infrastructure and hosting provider (a data processor under GDPR). When you visit the site, Vercel may automatically collect standard, limited server log data, such as:
This information is collected solely for security and fraud prevention, network stability, and operational performance and troubleshooting. We do not use this server log data for marketing, advertising, or behavioral tracking.

Online Donations
Our Donate page links to a secure online giving page provided by Roc Giving, a donation platform operated by Payroc. When you make a gift online, you may provide information such as your name, email address, mailing address, phone number (if requested), and payment details for a credit card, debit card, or bank account (ACH).
Payment and donation information is submitted directly to Roc Giving and Payroc. We do not collect, store, or have access to your full payment card number or bank account credentials on our own website or servers.
We may receive donor name, contact information, donation amount, and date of gift from Roc Giving or Payroc for tax receipts, record-keeping, and thank-you communications related to our nonprofit mission.
Payroc processes payments using PCI-compliant technology. For details on how Payroc collects, uses, and shares payment information, see Payroc’s privacy policy at https://payroc.com/legal/privacy-policy/. (opens in new tab)
How We Use Your Information
We use personal information only when we have a lawful reason to do so—for example, to operate and secure the site, to respond to your messages, to process and acknowledge donations, to maintain donation records, or to comply with legal obligations. We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.
We Do Not Sell or Share Your Data for Marketing
If you contact us by email or through our contact form, we treat your personal information with strict care.
We will never sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information (including your name and email address) with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes.
We share information only with service providers who help us run the website (such as Vercel), process online donations (Roc Giving and Payroc), and deliver messages, under contracts that require them to protect your data and use it only for our instructions; when required by law; or to protect rights and safety where permitted by law.
Under the CCPA/CPRA, we do not “sell” or “share” personal information as those terms are defined in California law.
Cookies, Tracking, and Analytics
Our website does not use tracking cookies, behavioral tracking tools, analytics scripts (such as Google Analytics or similar services), or advertising or remarketing pixels.
When you use our online donation link, the Roc Giving donation page is a third-party service that may use cookies or similar technologies to operate securely, prevent fraud, and complete your transaction. Those technologies are controlled by Payroc and are described in Payroc’s privacy policy.
Because we do not use non-essential cookies or similar tracking technologies for analytics or marketing on our own site, we do not display a cookie consent banner for those purposes at this time.
If we add cookies, analytics, or tracking tools in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and, where required by law, ask for your consent before using non-essential cookies.
Your browser may still store strictly necessary technical data needed to deliver the site. Our hosting provider may also process server logs as described above.
How Long We Keep Information
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy. Contact messages are kept for a reasonable period to respond and maintain records related to our programs and operations, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Donation records are kept as needed for tax, accounting, and nonprofit compliance purposes. Server logs retained by Vercel are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymize it where possible.
Where Your Information Is Stored
Our hosting provider may process and store data in the United States and other countries where Vercel or its subprocessors operate. Online donation and payment information is processed and stored by Payroc and its service providers, which may operate in the United States and other countries. If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, your information may be transferred outside your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal information, or to object to certain processing. California residents may also have rights to know what personal information we collect and to opt out of sale or sharing—we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
To make a request, contact us at the email or phone number below. Please include enough information for us to verify your request (for example, the email address you used to contact us or donate). If your request relates to payment information processed by Payroc, we may need to coordinate with Payroc to respond. We will respond within the time required by applicable law, often within 30 days.
If you are in the EEA, UK, or a similar region, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Children's Privacy
Our website is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in some jurisdictions) without appropriate parental consent. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete that information where required by law.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. Online donations are processed through Payroc’s PCI-compliant payment platform; we do not store full payment card or bank account details on our website. However, no website or internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date at the top. If we make material changes, we may provide additional notice on the website.
