When you make an online donation, Payroc World Access, LLC (“Payroc”), which operates the Roc Giving platform, processes payment information on our behalf as a service provider. Payroc’s own privacy policy governs how it handles payment and transaction data.

Our Donate page links to a secure online giving page provided by Roc Giving, a donation platform operated by Payroc. When you make a gift online, you may provide information such as your name, email address, mailing address, phone number (if requested), and payment details for a credit card, debit card, or bank account (ACH).

Payment and donation information is submitted directly to Roc Giving and Payroc. We do not collect, store, or have access to your full payment card number or bank account credentials on our own website or servers.

We may receive donor name, contact information, donation amount, and date of gift from Roc Giving or Payroc for tax receipts, record-keeping, and thank-you communications related to our nonprofit mission.

If you contact us by email or through our contact form, we treat your personal information with strict care.

We will never sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information (including your name and email address) with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes.

We share information only with service providers who help us run the website (such as Vercel), process online donations (Roc Giving and Payroc), and deliver messages, under contracts that require them to protect your data and use it only for our instructions; when required by law; or to protect rights and safety where permitted by law.

Under the CCPA/CPRA, we do not “sell” or “share” personal information as those terms are defined in California law.

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy. Contact messages are kept for a reasonable period to respond and maintain records related to our programs and operations, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Donation records are kept as needed for tax, accounting, and nonprofit compliance purposes. Server logs retained by Vercel are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymize it where possible.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal information, or to object to certain processing. California residents may also have rights to know what personal information we collect and to opt out of sale or sharing—we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

If your request relates to payment information processed by Payroc, we may need to coordinate with Payroc to respond. We will respond within the time required by applicable law, often within 30 days.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. Online donations are processed through Payroc’s PCI-compliant payment platform; we do not store full payment card or bank account details on our website. However, no website or internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
